Buttercream Cupcakes
Made with melt-in - your-mouth mousse
Ingredients
BATTER
- 240g Soft Butter
- 240g Caster Sugar
- 10ml Vanilla
- 360g Eggs
- 240g Plain Flour | Sifted
- 130g Corn Flour
ICING
- 50g MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder
- 200ml Water | Warm
- 125g NESTLÉ MILKYBAR® Dessert Mix
- 1 Block MILKYBAR® Chocolate | Broken
Preparation

1Preheat the oven to 165°C and line a muffin tin with baking paper inserts.

2Place the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat with a paddle.

3Add vanilla, eggs, dry goods, and milk. Beat until smooth.

4Divide the mixture into cupcake moulds and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they bounce back when touched. Cool on a wire rack.

5Prepare the icing, by mixing MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder with warm water and let it cool.

6Whisk the coconut milk and NESTLÉ MILKYBAR® Dessert Mix for 1 minute. Scrape the bowl down and continue whisking for 5 minutes until smooth.

7Using a piping bag, pipe the NESTLÉ MILKYBAR® icing on top of cupcakes and garnish with a small block of NESTLÉ MILKYBAR®.
*Alternatively, you can also use NESTLÉ AERO® Dessert Mix instead of NESTLÉ MILKYBAR®
