How to make a great gluten free gravy

Flour is a common thickener used in gravy. If you’re cooking for gluten intolerant customers, don’t worry! Here are two ways to make a great gluten free gravy.

The first and easiest way to ensure a yummy gravy is by using Nestle’s Gluten Free Gravy Maggi mix. It cuts down on cooking time and makes it easy to juggle the sauce along with everything else you’re making for the meal. Quick cooking times and simply adding water means it’s easy to make extra or last-minute batches if you need more too.

If you’re looking to make your own gravy, make sure that your thickener is gluten free. Instead of flour you can use a variety of different thickeners that are gluten free such as cornstarch, sweet rice flour, or an all-purpose gluten-free flour. If you want to add a nice flavour to the gravy while getting rid of the raw flour taste, cook the flour and butter together for a few minutes before adding in the rest of the ingredients.




How to make gravy in bulk

There’s nothing worse than running out of gravy! Especially after spending hours in the kitchen making the rest of the meal. Luckily, gravy is easy to make in bulk.
