If you're after a potato mash with extra protein, try making our protein enriched mash by following the recipe below. All you need is MAGGI Natural Mashed Potato, cold water, cream, skim milk, and butter. Simply mix and cook these ingredients together to make a delicious potato mash. This potato mash is a perfect accompaniment to soups, meats as well as most types of meals. For some more flavour, serve the mash with a knob of butter or grated cheddar cheese. You can make up to 30 portions of mash with this quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 250g MAGGI Natural Mashed Potato
  • 1250 mL cold water
  • 500mL cream
  • 160g powder skim milk
  • 140g diced butter
Preparation

    Place water, cream and salt in a large saucepan and bring to boil.

    Turn off heat and whisk in skimmed milk powder and MAGGI Natural Mashed Potato.

    Add butter and gently push down under the surface. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.

    Fold in melted butter taking care not to over mix. Serve.

TIP: For an added nutritional boost serve with a knob of butter or grated cheddar cheese
