This golden roast gravy sauce adds a delicious, rich flavour to every meal. Simple to make using the MAGGI Golden Roast Gravy Mix, you can simply heat and mix the pre-packaged sauce with water to make the delicious gravy. You can also add grain mustard and chopped herbs (such as flat parsley, tarragon, chervil and chives) for even more flavour. Spice up your roasted white and red meats with this delicious sauce mix.  A tip when making this sauce is to not boil the mustard, as it may make the sauce bitter.

Ingredients
  • 56g MAGGI Golden Roast Gravy Mix
  • 568ml water
  • 50g grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mixed herbs

    Mix the MAGGI Golden Roast Gravy Mix into half the water. Whisk well and add the rest of the water. Bring to boil and turn the heat down to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from the heat and whisk in the grain mustard and add the chopped herbs.

A perfect accompanying sauce that works equally for roasted white meats and red alike.
Herbs to use could be flat parsley, tarragon, chervil and chives.
Do not boil the mustard as it may turn bitter.
