Barra Burger with Umami Fries

An Aussie Asian Fusion

Ingredients
Burger Patty
  • 1.2kg Barramundi | Wild Tail Fillet | Skinned & Boned
  • 100g MAGGI Tom Yum Paste
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 Bunch Shallots | Finely Chopped
Coating
  • 40g MAGGI Natural Mashed Potato
  • 40g Sesame Seeds
  • 100ml Olive Oil
Assemble
  • 10 Burger Buns
  • 100g Mayonnaise
  • 25g MAGGI Korean BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Butter lettuce | Washed

    Set oven to 200˚C.
  • 2
    Place the barramundi, MAGGI Tom Yum Paste, egg white and shallots into a processor and blend.

    Mould into 10 patties and coat with MAGGI Natural Mashed Potato and sesame seeds.

    Pan fry and finish in the oven for 5 minutes or until cooked, then stand aside.

    Mix the mayonnaise and MAGGI Korean BBQ Sauce.

    Spread mayonnaise mix on the crown & heel of the burger, then top with burger patty

    Top with lettuce round, cucumber & serve with fries, seasoned with MAGGI Chicken Flavoured Booster.
