Ingredients
  • 1.25kg beef mince
  • 1 medium onions, chopped finely
  • 150g baby spinach leaves, chopped finely
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 20g gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 40g Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 10g MAGGI Classic Beef Flavoured Booster Gluten Free
  • 40ml olive oil
  • 750g canned chopped tomatoes
  • 100ml red wine
  • 30g MAGGI Classic Gluten Free Rich Gravy Mix
  • 15g fresh basil leaves, chiffonade

    Combine mince, onion, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan and MAGGI Beef Booster in a large bowl. Mix well and form into 20 meatballs.

    Heat oil in fry pan; cook meat balls until browned lightly; remove from pan. Add combined tomatoes, red wine and MAGGI Gravy Mix; bring to the boil. Return the meatballs to pan; reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Serve topped with basil leaves.
