Choc Orange Delice made with Nestlé AERO® Dessert Mix

Create a mouth-watering Choc Orange Delice with Nestlé AERO® Dessert Mix. The aerated texture and combination of bold chocolate and tangy orange flavours creates a rich and decadent dessert that's easy to make.
Ingredients
Cake layer
  • 200ml water
  • 125ml oil
  • 5g Vanilla paste
  • 20g Malt vinegar
  • 200g Sugar
  • 200g Plain flour
  • 6g Bicarb soda
  • 40g Nestlé Bakers Choice Cocoa
  • Circular portioned metal moulds
Choc Orange Delice Filling
  • 300g NESTLÉ Dark Bitter Couverture Chocolate | melted
  • 250g NESTLÉ AERO® Dessert Mix
  • 500ml Milk
Ganache
  • 100ml Cream
  • 200g NESTLÉ Royal Kibble Dark Couverture Chocolate 15kg
  • 1/2 Orange Zest

    For cake layer, set your oven to 180 °C, line a baking tray 24cm x 32cm.

    Mix all the wet ingredients in a jug.

    Sift all the dry ingredients in a bowl, and whisk in the wet ingredients in mix until smooth.

    Bake for 15-20 minutes until bounces back, cool on a wire

    Cut out 10 rounds discs, and place in the base of lined mould

    For Orange ganache, melt the cream down and add the NESTLÉ Royal Kibble Dark Couverture Chocolate in a bowl. Fold through the orange zest. Chill in fridge

    For the Choc Orange Delice filling, hold the melted chocolate warm on a Bain Marie, place the Nestlé AERO® Dessert Mix and milk in a bowl and follow back of pack instructions. Whisk in the melted chocolate vigorously.

    For assembling, pipe the Nestlé AERO® Dessert Mix mousse on top of the cake layer in each mould. Set in the freezer for an hour.

    Take out of freezer and top with Orange ganache and chopped pieces of AERO® Orange block and zest, de mould and serve.
