MAGGI Chicken Gravy Garlic and Rosemary Sauce

Rich meaty flavours perfectly suited to a both light and dark meats. This versatile sauce packed full of umami can even transform a simple vegetarian dish to a delicious menu option.

  • 56g MAGGI Chicken Gravy Mix
  • 568ml water
  • 12g garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 sprigs rosemary, roughly chopped
  • 12ml cream
  • 1 sprig rosemary leaves, chopped


Mix the MAGGI Chicken Gravy Mix into half the water and whisk well. Add the rest of the water and whisk. Add the garlic and the 2 sprigs chopped rosemary and bring to boil. Turn the heat down to simmer and cook for 3 minutes. Add the cream and simmer for a further minute.


Strain into a clean saucepan. Add the sprig of chopped rosemary leaves and serve.

  • Ideal with all chicken dishes and a great sauce to bring complexity to a simple roasted chicken dish.
  • Add to the sauce the meat juices from roasted chicken to add to the flavour.
  • Use some garlic and rosemary with the chicken as it cooks to enhance the flavour profile.
  • If you want to lift the flavour add a few drops of lemon juice to the sauce at the end.
