800g HARVEST GOURMET® Vegetarian Chargrilled Pieces
3 tbsp MAGGI® Taste of Americas Fiery Hot Sauce
Tahini marinade
4 garlic cloves
250g onions
100ml olive oil
1 tbsp ground cumin
½ tsp cayenne pepper
50ml lemon juice
400ml tahini
Salad
2 pomegranate (can replace with frozen)
100ml Extra Virgin olive oil
75g flat leave parsley
10 small baby cos lettuce leaves
Salt to season
Sesame seeds to garnish
1 Soak the grill sticks in water for at least 30 mins to avoid the sticks from burning.
2 Peel onions, garlic and mix with oil, cumin, lemon juice, tahini and cayenne pepper and blend it to a smooth puree. Add salt and pepper to taste
3 Mix the HARVEST GOURMET® Vegetarian Chargrilled Pieces in a big bowl with tahini marinade. Let it marinate for 5 mins.
4 Cut the pomegranates in halves and knock on the outside with a spoon. Hold the pomegranates over a bowl and the kernels and juice fall out. Ensure to remove all the white threads
5 Mix the pomegranate kernels and juice with a splash of olive oil and parsley leaves. Season with salt.
6 Divide the HARVEST GOURMET® Vegetarian Chargrilled Pieces all on the 30 grill sticks. Grill for 1 min on each side on a very hot grill.
7 Serve the HARVEST GOURMET® Vegetarian Chargrilled Pieces on a piece of lettuce with the pomegranate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and MAGGI® Taste of Americas Fiery Hot Sauce to finish.
