MAGGI Gluten Free Sweetcorn & Chicken Flavoured Soup Mix

 
1.85Lcold water 
25groot gingerfine dice and blanched
160gsweetcorn canned or frozen 
100gshitake mushroomssliced and pan fried
25gsoy sauce 
110gchickencooked and shredded
2 green shallotsfinely sliced

 

Method

  1. In a saucepan, mix 200mL of water with soup mix to form a slurry.
  2. Add the remaining water and blanched ginger and stir. Turn on heat and bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Add the sweetcorn, shitake mushrooms, soy sauce and chicken.
  5. Re-heat, add the shallots and serve.

Suggestion: Garnish pan-fried shiitake, finely sliced shallots and red chilli.
