Hazelnut Mousse Tart with Hazelnut Caramel

Instructions

  1. Make NESTLÉ Hazelnut Mousse Mix according to packet directions, using chilled milk. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water; boil without stirring for 10 minutes, or until a light caramel forms. Stir in chopped hazelnuts. Pour mixture onto baking or silicon paper, evenly spread caramel. Once caramel has set, break into shards.
  3. To serve, place NESTLÉ Hazelnut Mousse Mix into a piping bag with a star nozzle, pipe mixture into tart shells, top with hazelnut shards, garnish with berries and whipped cream.
  4. Using commercially pre-baked pastry cases can make this a very simple to prepare but stunning looking dessert.
