1.5kg HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational Ground Mince

10pcs Tomatoes

3kg White onions

70g Crushed garlic

700mL Red wine

600g Carrots

3 sprig Thyme

10mL Olive oil

1kg Spaghetti

100g Tomato paste

300g Celery

10g Oregano

  1. Defrost the HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational Ground Mince. Dice the onions, the tomatoes, the carrots and the celery.
  2. Heat up the olive oil in a big cooking pot and sweat the onions, the garlic, the carrots and the celery for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational Ground Mince and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes, the tomato paste and the red wine. Cook for 30 minutes at medium heat.
  5. Cook the pasta in salty boiling water until al dente.
  6. Season the Bolognese sauce with fresh thyme, chopped oregano and salt and pepper. 
  7. Place the pasta into a serving dish. Pour the Bolognese sauce on top and decorate with the fresh basil.


Chef's Tip

  • For an easy sauce in less than 10 minutes, pan fry mince for 5-8 minutes and combine with BUITONI Sugo Per Pasta. 
  • Cook with CHEF® Port and Red Wine Paste for acidity.
  • Roast the tomato paste in the oven at 200°c for 20 minutesto add depth in the sauce.
  • Serve all elements separatelyfor home delivery.
