The Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award exists to support the country’s top emerging culinary talent and offers young chefs the chance to elevate their professional development and employment prospects.

 

Nestlé Professional has a 55-year legacy in Australia with the Golden Chef Hat competition, as the most credible culinary award in the industry. 2020 sees an exciting trans-Tasman element, with the competition launching in New Zealand to support even more chefs.

 

WHO CAN ENTER?

  • Apprentice and junior chefs, who are:
  • Australian or New Zealand residents
  • Aged from 16 and under 25 years on 30th December 2020
  • In the culinary industry (working or previously as a chef, cook, apprentice, culinary student)

*Important Information: Entry is for individuals who are AU or NZ residents working (current or recent) in the culinary industry & aged between 16 & under 25 on 30.12.20. Entry is open 4 May – 29 June 2020. Twelve regional winners will be announced 27 July 2020. Grand Finals cook-off date and location to be confirmed.
